Dr. Jonny Macias Tejada, MD, AGSF, is the Medical Director for Senior Services at Advocate Health - WI/IL Divisions, and the Acute Care for Elders Program at Aurora St. Luke's Medical Center. Dr. Macias has been granted American Geriatrics Society Fellow Status (AGSF) due to his professional commitment and dedication to geriatrics.
Dr. Macias’s main focus is to expand inpatient geriatric consultation and geriatric knowledge in the emergency department, trauma service and hospital medicine.
Dr. Macias’s major clinical interests include caring for acutely ill hospitalized older patients. He is part of a multidisciplinary effort at Advocate Health to disseminate evidence-based geriatrics models of care.
