Hongtao Liu is a faculty member in the Division of Hematology, Medical Oncology and Palliative Care within the Department of Medicine. He is currently an Associate Professor and a medical oncologist specializing in treating patients with blood cancers.
Dr. Liu's specialties are hematologic malignancies and stem cell transplant and cellular therapy. He is the medical director of the program of Stem Cell Transplant and Cellular Therapy (SCTCT).
Dr. Liu's research interests include developing innovative treatments for hematologic malignancies and improvement of the outcomes of the patients undergoing stem cell transplant and cellular therapy.
