Dr. Klein graduated from Boston University School of Medicine, did his residency in Pediatrics at Johns Hopkins University and completed his infectious disease fellowship at UW Hospital and Clinics in 1988. Certified in Pediatrics by the ABP, he is a Professor of Pediatrics, Internal Medicine, and Medical Microbiology.
