Professional Activities

Dr. Hildebrand is a faculty member in the Division of Rheumatology in the Department of Medicine. She has more than 20 years of experience treating rheumatologic patients, including the past 8 years with the William S. Middleton VA Hospital. She is a reviewer for Rheumatology Hospital-based Medical Knowledge (MKSAP) questions for the American College of Physicians (ACP). She is a clinical educator and inaugural partner with the Orion Initiative, a partnership between frontline rural providers and the academic community to improve health care in rural Wisconsin communities.

Clinical Specialties

Dr. Hildebrand has been certified by the Ultrasound School of North American Rheumatologists (USSONAR) for the use of musculoskeletal ultrasound in outpatient care. She is part of a team providing subspecialty clinical training to family medicine physicians to reduce rheumatology patient referrals to Madison and the surrounding areas, decreasing patient travel.

Research Interests

Dr. Hildebrand is published in peer-reviewed journals on arthritis and other musculoskeletal diseases.
