Professional Activities

Dr. Sarah Floden enjoys working with resident physicians in both inpatient and outpatient settings. She is an Internal Medicine Residency Core Faculty member, serving as the Communication Skills Education Director. Through this role, she organizes classroom and simulation-based communication skills sessions, including concepts related to difficult conversations, complex interdisciplinary care, and the ethical practice of medicine. She is also involved in the UW Peer Support Program and is a consultant on the Hospital Ethics Committee.
