Professional Activities

Dr. Ryan Drake is a faculty member in the Division of Hospital Medicine within the Department of Medicine. As a hospitalist, Dr. Drake focuses on providing care to adult patients in inpatient settings and specializes in the triage and initial management of patients admitted to the hospital. He has served in a variety of leadership roles and committees in the division of Hospital Medicine, helping to redesign the structure of the Hospitalist services at University Hospital and also working on a program to improve geographic co-localization of patients. He has also been a member of the Hospital Medicine Peer Review program.

Dr. Drake was also recognized as an "Outstanding Faculty Consultant" by the UW Emergency Residency Program in 2021.

Clinical Specialties

Dr. Drake’s clinical interests include Hospital Medicine and Internal Medicine with particular emphasis towards triage of patients needing admission to the hospital.
