Elyse Conley

Elyse Conley is a faculty member of the Division of Hospital Medicine within the Department of Medicine. Dr. Conley is involved in medical education, having completed a fellowship in Hospital Internal Medicine with a focus on Medical Education and Curriculum Development at Mayo Clinic in Rochester, Minnesota, and the Training to Teach in Medicine certificate program through the Harvard Medical School Department of Postgraduate Medical Education. She is also interested in community service and engagement, and in addition to various community service commitments, she was the co-founder and director of two health-focused non-profit organizations.
While at the David Geffen School of Medicine, Dr. Conley was awarded the Dean's Leadership in Health and Sciences Scholarship, and she is an elected member of the Gold Humanism Honors Society. She is also a member of the American Medical Association, the American Medical Women's Association, and the Society of Hospital Medicine.
Dr. Conley's research and educational interests are in the areas of creative thinking, improving communication and strengthening the patient-provider relationship, helping medical providers better understand the patient experience of illness and hospitalization, and improving the experience of hospitalization.
