Dr. Ty Carroll is chief of the Division of Endocrinology, Diabetes and Metabolism within the Department of Medicine. Dr. Carroll is a member of the Endocrine Society and the American Association of Clinical Endocrinologists. He has received recognition by Best Doctors in America on numerous occasions.

Clinical Specialties

Dr. Carroll provides care for a diverse group of patients with endocrine disorders, including thyroid disease and diabetes, with a special focus on individuals who have adrenal and pituitary disorders.

Dr. Carroll's research interests include the use of novel diagnostic strategies and treatments for cortisol excess (Cushing syndrome). He has been an investigator in multiple clinical trials that have contributed to FDA approval for pharmacotherapies of cortisol excess.
