Professional Activities
Dr. Ellen Barbouche is a faculty member of the Division of Hospital Medicine within the Department of Medicine. Dr. Barbouche is the Medical Director for Quality and Patient Safety for UW Health East Madison Campus and for Hospital Medicine at the UW Health Rehabilitation Hospital. Her scholarly interests include research into methods to reduce diagnostic error and around interhospital transfers. She is a recipient of the Patient Safety Leadership award for UW Health.
