The scholarship pillar of the Department of Medicine Educator Academy:
- Establishes and cultivates a community of those interested in and excited about research and scholarship.
- Emphasizes education research and scholarship and includes curriculum development, program evaluation, and education research.
- Offers educational sessions, peer and 1:1 mentorship, and consultation services for specific projects to enhance education research in DOM.

25-26 Series: Dissemination in Medical Education
This series explores what dissemination is, why it matters in medical education, and how to do it effectively. It is designed for all those interested in dissemination, whether you have disseminated your work in the past, have a specific project in mind, or are just curious about getting involved in disseminating medical education work.
Those who attend all six sessions will receive the “Dissemination in Medical Education” Certificate.
Sessions occur once monthly from 12:15-1:00pm over Zoom.

Established in Fall 2024, the Medical Education Writing Society (MEWS) is for those working on medical education manuscripts who intend to publish in the next 6-12 months.
Meetings are held on the 2nd and 4th Fridays of each month on Zoom from 12-1pm. In these meetings, attendees set individual goals, brainstorm with their peers, provide feedback on submitted manuscripts, and hold each other accountable.
