2026 Clinical Mentor Training Series

This series is a dynamic, in-person learning opportunity designed to strengthen your mentoring skills and foster inclusive, supportive relationships in clinical settings. Topics include creating a mentoring relationship, effective communication and feedback, goal setting, managing obstacles, and more.

  • Who: All DOM senior faculty from the CT or CHS track are invited to participate
  • When: February 3 & 17, and March 3, 2026, from 3:00-5:00 pm
  • Where: In-person at HSLC

  • Session 1: Creating a Mentoring Relationship, & Effective Communication and Feedback, presented by Jeremy Smith, MD
  • Session 2: Goal Setting and Managing Obstacles with Mentees, presented by Andy Coyle, MD
  • Session 3: Recognizing Unconscious Assumptions in Mentoring, presented by Diego Campoverde Cisneros, Sarita Field, MA, and Patty Cisneros Prevos, M.Ed
