The Research Council is responsible for reviewing and making funding decisions for Small Pilot, CapEx, and Bridge proposals. It also oversees funding decisions for General and Team Science Pilot proposals. In addition to its funding responsibilities, the Council provides strategic guidance and budgetary support for research education initiatives and broader research planning efforts.
