The mission of the Medical Inpatient Committee is to improve the health of our patients through:
- Aligning with DOM goals of care quality and health equity
- Optimizing inpatient workflows and the transition to post-acute and outpatient care settings
- Fostering collaboration among divisions
- Sharing inpatient metrics and data to improve our practice, with the flexibility to recognize the uniqueness of each division
- Prioritizing education for our learners
- Enhancing our role as a regional referral center
- Acting as a conduit between DOM inpatient care and UW Health strategic initiatives

No term limit; seats available when someone steps down from their operations role.
Expectations
Join majority of meetings, report out relevant updates from their own divisions, participate meaningfully in discussions and report back to their division any updates.
