- Research Day. Held annually and offers engaging presentations by expert speakers and showcases the work of our junior faculty and learners through poster presentations
- Grant writing seminars. Held annually and consistently highly rated by participants. Topic alternates each year.
- Career development grant writing workshop. Held twice a year to assist junior faculty and researcher/scientist roles in writing and submitting early career proposals.
- Researcher retreats. Coming soon! Will be held annually to discuss hot topics in research across basic, translational, clinical and health services research.
- Shapiro Summer Research Program. Hosted annually by the UW School of Medicine and Public Health, this program allows medical students to play an active, full-time role in a research project with mentorship by department faculty.
- Research Awards. Held annually to recognize the significant contributions made by DOM’s faculty, researchers/scientists, and trainees toward advancing the field of medicine in basic, translational, clinical and health services research.
