The Department of Medicine Office of Research Services invites research staff to attend an in-person lecture on Ethics in Research with Dr. Norm Fost, a nationally recognized leader in bioethics and human subjects research.
Dr. Fost will review the history of human subjects research in the U.S., examine the roots of today’s regulatory challenges, and address common misconceptions about informed consent, financial inducements, and research involving children.
This session is especially relevant for DOM research coordinators, research administrators, and regulatory staff.
