Professional Activities

Dr. Sean O’Neill is a faculty member in the Division of Hospital Medicine within the Department of Medicine. Dr. O’Neill is Associate Program Director, Internal Medicine Residency in the Department of Medicine, and is actively involved in medical education for learners at all levels.

He is a member of the American College of Physicians, the Alpha Omega Alpha Honor Medical Society, and the Society of Hospital Medicine. Dr. O'Neill has been recognized for both his teaching and clinical work, receiving the Department of Medicine’s Housestaff Professionalism Award and the Evans-Glassroth Teaching award and the American College of Physician-Wisconsin's Young Internist of the Year Award.

Dr. O’Neill’s clinical specialties include general internal medicine and the practice of evidence-based medicine (EBM).
