Support the Residency Program Endowment

Help Keep the UW-Madison Internal Medicine Residence Program Strong

Becoming a doctor is an experience that isn’t fully captured in the pages of a textbook. Somewhere between medical school and the moment that a physician starts to trust their own diagnostic skill, a transformation occurs. Here at the UW-Madison Department of Medicine, we believe that this shift requires not only the development of deep technical acumen and capacity for critical thinking, but also the ability to hone emotional and interpersonal wisdom. This unique approach has made a tremendous impact on generations of trainees in the Internal Medicine Residency Program, nurturing their growth as internists and providing a foundation of success for patient-centered care throughout their careers.

You can help ensure a strong future by making a gift to the Internal Medicine Residency Program Endowment, named in honor of Dr. Bennett Vogelman. This permanent endowment will forever support important projects and initiatives that will enhance the residency program: continuing education, research projects, education initiatives, project development, salary support, and more. The endowment will also provide an endowed faculty position, which is critical for the future recruitment and retention of the very best faculty members so that the excellence of the program continues into the future.
