Dr. Elisavet Paplomata is a faculty member of the Division of Hematology, Medical Oncology and Palliative Care within the Department of Medicine. Dr. Paplomata has been a member of the American Society of Clinical Oncology since 2010. She has served in multiple national and institutional committees, including the Diversity in Oncology Committee of the Conquer Cancer Foundation, and the Breast cancer Committee and the Local Recurrence Subcommittee of NRG oncology. She has been involved in the education of medical students, residents and fellows and has been acting as a reviewer for several medical journals.
Dr. Paplomata is a medical oncologist who specializes in women's health and in cancers that mainly affect women, including breast, ovarian, cervical, uterine, and vulvar cancers.
Dr. Paplomata’s research focuses primarily on the development and testing of novel treatments for breast cancer and gynecologic malignancies. She has served as a primary investigator and co-investigator in multiple institutional or international studies and her work has been published in peer reviewed journals.
