Professional Activities

Dr. Jaya Krishna is a faculty member in the Division of Cardiovascular Medicine within the Department of Medicine. She is a member of the American College of Cardiology and is individually board certified in Internal Medicine, Cardiovascular Diseases, Nuclear Cardiology, Echocardiography and Coronary CT. She has an active practice as a staff cardiologist as UnityPoint Health-Meriter Heart & Vascular Institute and is the Echocardiography Lab Medical Director, Cardiac Rehab Medical Director and Heart Failure Program Medical Director at UnityPoint Health-Meriter.  

Clinical Specialties

Dr. Krishna provides care to patients with a wide range of cardiovascular diseases and disorders. Her interests include preventative cardiology, heart failure, advanced cardiac imaging with echocardiography, nuclear cardiology and coronary CT imaging.
