Dr. Samih Khauli is a faculty member in the Division of Hospital Medicine within the Department of Medicine. As a hospitalist, Dr. Khauli focuses on providing care to adult patients in inpatient settings. He is a member of the American Medical Association, the American College of Physicians, the American Thoracic Society, and the Jordan Medical Council. Dr. Khauli currently serves on the University of Wisconsin Hospitals and Clinics (UWHC) Respiratory Therapy Committee and the Pulmonary Embolism Response Team workgroup. In addition to his general hospitalist responsibilities, Dr. Khauli performs bedside procedures including paracentesis, thoracentesis, lumbar puncture, central line insertion, and bedside ultrasonography. He also provides clinical instruction to hospital residents and medical students.
Dr. Khauli’s clinical interests include hospital medicine, internal medicine, critical care medicine, and pulmonology. He has been recognized for his collaborative research publications and presentations related to pulmonary disorders.
