Dr. Kraig Kumfer is a faculty member in the Division of Hospital Medicine within the Department of Medicine. As a hospitalist, Dr. Kumfer focuses on providing care to adult patients in inpatient settings. Prior to joining the faculty, Dr. Kumfer conducted postdoctoral research in blood coagulation. His previous graduate research was in cell biology. He is a member of the American Medical Association and the American College of Physicians. Dr. Kumfer provides clinical instruction to medical students and residents.
Dr. Kumfer’s clinical interests include hospital medicine and internal medicine, with special interest in anticoagulation in hospitalized patients.
