Professional Activities 

Dr. Barczi is a faculty member in the Division of Geriatrics and Gerontology within the Department of Medicine. He is an attending physician at the William S. Middle VA Hospital where he is clinical director of the Division of Geriatrics, director of the Geriatrics Patient Aligned Care Team and director of the Sleep Telemedicine Program. Dr. Barczi is co-director of the Advanced Academic Fellowship in Geriatrics and director and site PI for Connect-Geriatric Telemedicine Program at GRECC. He is a member of a number of professional societies, including The American Geriatrics Society where he serves as chair of the Education Committee.  

Clinical Specialties 

Dr. Barczi is board certified in internal medicine, geriatric medicine and sleep medicine. 

Research Interests 

Dr. Barczi’s research interests include geriatrics primary care, age-related diseases, and sleep disorders.
