Dr. Ann Catlett is a faculty member in the Division of Hematology, Medical Oncology and Palliative Care within the Department of Medicine. She is a co-founder and board member of Madison Area Care for the Homeless and a member of the Dane County Homeless Services Consortium. Dr. Catlett is also founder and board president of the non-profit organization Solace: Community, Comfort, and Care at Life's End, which provides housing and care for those experiencing homelessness or social isolation as they near death. She is also the principal investigator and medical director of the Madison Street Medicine Initiative, which is supported by an Ira and Ineva Reilly Baldwin Wisconsin Idea Endowment grant.
Dr. Catlett’s clinical interests include complex illness, palliative care, ethics in end-of-life decision-making, and care for the homeless and marginalized.
