COVID-19 has created new ways for us to learn and work together, and new opportunities as well. Early on in the pandemic, we moved quickly to reorganize teams, schedules and rotations to meet the needs of patients and learners alike. We were impressed and gratified to see our fellows and residents independently develop—and publish—a crash curriculum for outpatient faculty providers who might be redeployed to the inpatient world. We met as a program each week to keep residents up-to-date on any and all changes.
And as we navigate this changing landscape, we continue to support each other professionally, and take care of each other personally.
