Eligibility

Prospective fellows must:

  • Have completed an accredited pulmonary and critical care fellowship and be board-eligible or certified in pulmonary and critical care medicine
  • Be U.S. citizens or permanent residents, able to obtain a license to practice medicine in the state of Wisconsin and eligible for an appointment to the faculty at the University of Wisconsin School of Medicine and Public Health

Application Process

You must first register with the National Resident Matching Program by September 30th. Select the current NRMP year option and then follow the registration instructions.

To apply, submit the following documents using the IPFAS (IP Fellowship Application System) on the AIPPD website.

  • Three (3) letters of recommendation attesting to excellent clinical skills, teaching, and ability to work with others.
  • Current CV
  • Personal Statement/Letter of Intent
  • Procedure Log
  • USMLE and/or COMLEX transcript
