Professional Activities

Dr. Gerald Pankratz is a faculty member in the Division of Geriatrics and Gerontology within the Department of Medicine. He is a member of the American Geriatrics Society and is actively involved in training medical students, residents and fellows in the principles of geriatric care in both the inpatient and outpatient settings. Dr. Pankratz is the clinical lead for UW Health’s interdisciplinary Geriatrics Clinic and Mobility and Falls Clinics, which aim to prevent falls in older adults and the consequences that can impact independence.

Clinical Specialties

Dr. Pankratz is a geriatrician with special interests in comprehensive geriatric assessment, management of delirium and dementia, falls prevention and polypharmacy management. He provides comprehensive primary care for older adults, particularly for those living on the east side of Madison or in surrounding areas.
