Professional Activities

Dr. Ferguson is a faculty member in the Division of Allergy, Pulmonary and Critical Care Medicine within the Department of Medicine. He has served as the Director of Interventional Pulmonology and Bronchoscopy since 2008. Dr. Ferguson is a member of numerous professional societies, is a Diplomate of Interventional Pulmonology from the American Association of Bronchology and Interventional Pulmonology, and served on their board of directors from 2009-2013. A dedicated and passionate educator, Dr. Ferguson is a two-time recipient of the James B. Skatrud Teaching Award for Outstanding Teaching in Pulmonary and Critical Care Medicine on behalf of fellows in the Pulmonary and Critical Care Medicine program. 

Clinical Specialties

Dr. Ferguson has clinical interests in Interventional Pulmonology, Advanced Diagnostics, and Thoracic Oncology. Dr. Ferguson is board certified in pulmonary medicine, and is a member of the UW Carbone Cancer Center.
