Professional Activities

Dr. Anurag Soni is a faculty member in the Division of Gastroenterology and Hepatology within the Department of Medicine. He is the co-director of the division’s Quality Assurance/Quality Improvement Program and member of its Clinical Competency and Program Education Committee. Dr. Soni is also the medical director of the UW Health Gastroenterology and Hepatology Clinics, a member of the UW Health Clinics Quality Assurance Committee for Gastroenterology and a member of the UW Health Ambulatory Operations Access Subgroup. He is a member of the American Gastroenterological Association and the American Society for Gastrointestinal Endoscopy.

Research Interests

Dr. Soni’s research interests include therapeutic gastrointestinal endoscopy, endoscopic management of gastrointestinal malignancies, colorectal cancer screening, outcomes research and medical decisions analysis.

Clinical Specialties

Dr. Soni is a gastroenterologist with clinical specialties in therapeutic endoscopy, including ERCP and double balloon enteroscopy.
