Professional Activities

Dr. Maxfield Flynn is a faculty member in the Division of Endocrinology, Diabetes and Metabolism within the Department of Medicine. As a clinical endocrinologist, Dr. Flynn provides care in both inpatient and ambulatory settings to patients with a wide range of conditions, diseases and disorders involving the endocrine system. As a medical educator, he has provided classroom and clinical instruction to medical students, residents, and fellows and continuing medical education presentations to clinicians. He is a member of The Endocrine Society.

Clinical Specialties

Dr. Flynn's clinical interests include diabetes and metabolic disease, thyroid disorders, adrenal disorders and evaluation of thyroid nodules.
