Biography

Christine Seibert graduated from the Northwestern University Medical School and completed her internship and residency at Brigham and Women's Hospital in Boston, Massachusetts. In 1995, she joined the faculty of University of Wisconsin School of Medicine and Public Health. Dr. Seibert is board certified in Internal Medicine.

In addition to practicing medicine, Dr. Seibert actively teaches and pursues research in medical education. In 1997, she was appointed Co-Director of the Patient, Doctor and Society Course, a required four-semester course that teaches communication and physical examination skills to all first and second year medical students.

Dr Seibert's educational research ranges from assessing the effects of early exposure to primary care to finding effective methods to teach small groups of students. Currently, she is investigating innovative approaches to teaching advanced communication skills, evidence-based medicine, and behavioral modification skills to students. Dr. Seibert frequently presents her research and teaches workshops at national and regional meetings.

In addition to maintaining an active medical practice at UW-East Clinic where she sees patients with general medical problems, Dr. Seibert teaches medical students and residents in the classroom, clinic and hospital.
