Interventional nephrology clinical research in our division has a strong reputation for novel technologies and dialysis access outcomes. We have participated in multi-center trials on endovascular devices, such as stent grafts and angioplasty balloons, and have published large population-based observational studies.

We are currently participating in industry-initiated randomized trials on stem cell therapy for chronic kidney disease and a National Institutes of Health-funded multi-center trial on vascular access outcomes in the elderly.
